“ It was the best time ever! ”

- Zoe, 11

Zoe suffered from Kidney failure and painful dialysis treatments were wearing on her and her family.

Zoe seems like most little girls her age. She loves to swim, dance, and sing. She is full of bright light and usual child-like charisma. One thing makes 11-year-old Zoe a bit different than most kids her age – she was diagnosed with end stage renal failure, and for the past three years she's been fighting the battle. Three days a week she travels out of town with her mother for very difficult dialysis treatments.

Zoe’s condition was not only hard for the young girl who fought so hard but also painful for her family to witness. “Renal failure has taken a toll on my little girl’s life. She has great will and strength and continues to keep fighting," said Jessie, Zoe’s mom.

She met a young girl going through the same type of exhausting treatments at her clinic and they became fast friends. This is where Zoe first heard of her friend's travels to Walt Disney World® Resort on behalf of Make-A-Wish. Zoe had dreams of one day going there as well and seeing all of her favorite characters and spending time with her family on the vacation of her life.

Zoe was granted her wish and she and her family went all the way to Florida to the Magic Kingdom where she rode on rides, saw the sites, and created long lasting memories with her loved ones. This trip lifted all of their spirits to happiness and joy.

Zoe’s mother Jessie stated that this wish was: “the best time ever” and they felt that “this wish experience will stay in our minds and hearts forever.”

Today Zoe's health is improving as she continues to fight. Everyday is a battle but her family is thankful for the great memories they created together as a family.

This wish experience will stay in our hearts and minds forever. ”

— Jessie, Zoe's mother
